General
These terms apply to all purchases of products via this website, where the seller of the goods is gumi-gumi, a Business for manufacturing, services and trade, owned by Ivana Dvořak and Matea Čajo, Zvonigradska 12, 10000 Zagreb, OIB 10757679670, and the buyer is any natural person or legal entity, being a visitor to the online shop, who completes and submits the electronic order form to the seller and pays for the ordered products. The buyer is responsible for the completeness and accuracy of the information provided during registration. The seller reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Such amendments shall take effect upon publication on this website.
Services and Products
We make every effort to present and describe all products as accurately as possible; however, we cannot guarantee that the characteristics of the ordered product will fully correspond to those shown in the photographs due to the nature of handmade production, the customer’s monitor settings, and similar factors. Please note that the photographs are for illustrative purposes only. Each product is handmade and may therefore vary in size, color, or pattern. In case of any uncertainties, the customer may, prior to purchase, submit inquiries and request clarifications or additional details regarding a specific product.
Prices and Payment
All prices are stated in euros and do not include VAT, in accordance with Article 90 of the Value Added Tax Act. The prices applicable are those valid on the date of the order, and the ordered product will be delivered at the price valid at the time the order was placed. Prices remain valid until a new price list is issued. We reserve the right to change product prices without prior notice. Payment may be made via bank transfer, credit card, or PayPal.
Order and Delivery
After placing an order, the customer will receive a confirmation via email. If no notification is received, the customer should check their junk/spam folder. Products are made exclusively upon receipt and payment of the order. Production may take up to 5 working days, except in the case of larger orders, where the production time will be agreed with the customer. If it is not possible to fulfill the order for justified reasons, the seller shall unilaterally terminate the contract and refund the amount paid.
Delivery to Croatia is free of charge and is carried out through various delivery service providers. International shipments are dispatched via postal services, whereby applicable shipping fees vary depending on the country of destination. Delivery will take place no later than 10 working days from the date of the order, unless otherwise stated. Delivery costs for the EU and the rest of the world may vary and are determined according to the current tariffs of the delivery services; they are not included in the product price and are charged separately.
Delivery times may vary depending on the destination. The usual delivery time is up to 5 working days, but may vary depending on geographical distance, etc. The seller is not liable for any delays or delivery issues that are beyond its control. The buyer will receive notifications about the delivery status and shipment tracking via e-mail and similar communication channels.
Returns and Exchanges
The Customer has the right to return or exchange a product, with the exception of custom-made items, within 14 days of receipt, provided the product is undamaged, unused and in its original packaging, along with proof of purchase. The Customer must submit a request for a return or exchange via the general contact form or email within the specified period. The cost of return postage is borne by the Customer, unless the return is due to an error by the Seller.
To exercise your right of unilateral withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from the Agreement before the withdrawal period expires by means of an unequivocal statement sent by post or email. In that statement, you should provide your full name, address, telephone number, and/or email address. You may also fill in the form on this website. You will receive an automatic confirmation by email once your request is registered. We will reimburse all payments we have received from you, including the costs of delivery, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date on which we receive your decision to withdraw from the Agreement. The refund will be made using the same method of payment that you used for the original transaction.
Products may be exchanged within 14 days of receipt of the delivery. A product may be exchanged for the same item or for a different one. Upon receipt of the returned, undamaged and unused product in its original packaging, the seller will process the exchange. If the product is exchanged for one of greater value, the difference must be paid before the product is dispatched. If the value is lower, the Seller will refund the excess amount to the Buyer’s account. The cost of the exchange is borne by the Buyer, unless the return is due to an error by the Seller.
Limitation of Liability
The seller shall not be liable for any damage resulting from improper handling, storage, or care of the product, and such products shall not be eligible for return, exchange, or remaking. The seller shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of products purchased via the webshop, including those caused by intentional, negligent, or grossly negligent actions. The total liability of the seller to the customer for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the product or service giving rise to the claim.
Privacy and Data Protection
The website collects only basic user/customer data necessary for the fulfillment of the seller’s obligations (full name, phone number, email address, postal address, and information about purchased products). Credit card details and other payment information are not stored. Personal data is collected only with the user’s explicit consent and will be used solely for communication, order processing, and product delivery purposes. Data will not be shared with third parties unless necessary for order fulfillment (e.g., courier services). All data is kept strictly confidential and is accessible only to employees who require it for the performance of their duties. The website uses cookies to improve user experience.
